Farley, Nathaniel
I was born on January 6, 1962 in a small village called Gbaisumon, now called Manor Clan. I was born unto the union of Mr. Momo & Mrs. Maima Karnley. During my childhood I was seen as a strong young boy capable of earning some level of education. I was sent to my uncle to start primary education in Saw Mill. After 5 years, I completed my primary education. In 1980 I started at St. Oduwulu Junior Hight School, then went on and graduated from Boatswain High School in 1985.
Since graduation from high school I have been working as a trained government teacher in both public and private schools.
When the civil war hit Tubmanburg, I fled to Monrovia and settled in a displaced camp. It was also during this time I had an opportunity to attend the Maranatha Bible College of Theology where I am presently a senior student.
I became a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Liberia (UPCL) during my first displacement in 1995. It was during this time that the surrounding displaced centers established the 'Water in the Desert UPC'. I was baptized there in 1996. When the fighting died down I returned to Tubmanburg. The church went through a 3 day fast and prayer for a revival service that brought together all UPC churches in Tubmanburg and surrounding towns. During the third night of this great revival, God filled me with the Holy Ghost.
In 1998 I received my first Gospel Worker License and was assigned to Hill Top Preaching Point in Munbah village. Two years later, I received my local license. I was transferred from Hill Top Preaching Point to Beafinie UPC. While in Beafinie I was assigned to New Road, Tubmanburg to revive the Golahun UPC. This church is now in active worship with a membership of 20 adults and 23 children. I now hold a general license. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.
