Jubiri, Paul

I am Pastor Paul Jubiri of Revival & Salvation Apostolic Ministries. I was born in 1968 in Luwona village Kisomolo sub-county, Kabalore District in Western Uganda. I was born by parents who were of the Protestant religion and poor, so I did not go far with education. But I thank God I can read the Bible very well. I studied from 1st grade to 5th grade.

When life became very hard in the village, I decided to come to Kampala City to look for a job. I got a job as a wheel-barrow pusher. Still life became even harder than it was in the village. I became so weak that I couldn’t even manage pushing the wheelbarrow. I then got someone to get me a job as a Shamba boy. After sometime, I got with a group of boys who led me to drinking alcohol, smoking opium and cigarettes. I continued to do that kind of stuff for 14 years and as a result I started sleeping wherever I could. At this time, I had a wife and three children, but I could not even think about them. Because of this situation I put my family through; my wife got saved at Bishop John Wayabire’s church. My wife told bishop about my conditions, so he came to my house, but I didn’t want to listen to his words at all. He left and came back in the rain to see me a second time and when I realized that it was Bishop John I refused to open the door for him, letting it rain on him. He came back a third time. I remembered how he had bothered to look for me and the spirit convicted me and I realized God really loved me to see that He keeps on sending his servant to come visit me even when I refused to open the door for him in the rain. That day I accepted and he took me to his church, prayed for me and later baptized me in the Name of Jesus.

From that time in 1998, Bishop taught me how to pray and how to live a holy Godly life. I left the life of drinking and began a new life. My wife and children found joy! Since then, I have become a real servant, a minister, and a prayer warrior. I eventually became an Elder of the church and later ordained as a Pastor. I love witnessing and bringing lost souls to church just as Bishop did for me. The most important thing for me to do now is to preach the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
