Momo, Stephen S.K.

I was born in Gelema, Lofa County, Liberia March 8, 1966. At the age of nine I was brought to the Firestone Rubber Plantation by my uncle to attend school.

I began reading the Bible at age 15 and learned that a supernatural power exists. I also began to develop an interest in being a preacher. I started worshipping with the Liberian Free Pentecostal Church in 1986. I was baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I remained in that church until the civil crisis in 1990.

We moved to Kakata and ended up in Fuenitoille, Liberia. In 1994 I came in personal contact with the Lord Jesus Christ at the First Apostolic UPC, Fuenitoille, pastured by Brother Moore D. Johnson. It was there that I learned I needed to be re-baptized in Jesus' Name. In April 1996 I was baptized in Jesus' Name and received the Holy Ghost.

I started working with the church as an usher and was later promoted to a Sunday School teacher position. Due to my commitment, I was appointed Assistant Pastor in 1997. In 1999 we returned to Kakata where I served as Assistant Pastor until 2002.

Presently, I feel very humble to have been appointed as National Evangelist for the whole UPC Liberia. I must admit, the Lord is working greatly in my life.

I am married and have 4 children. Thank you for your financial support and prayers.
