Rara, Floro
I am Pastor Floro Rara, born December 22, 1963 in Valencia, Bohol. I was converted to the Apostolic Faith December 25, 1979 at Montevideo, Bohol under Pastor Emeliano Patayan. In 1986 I went to Manila to work to help my mother earn money so that my younger sisters could attend school since my father died when we were still young.
While I'm working I felt the calling of God in my life in the ministry so I enrolled in ACTS Bible College for 2 years. After my graduation I married Sis. Analyn Macadagat. The Lord blessed us with three children.
After our wedding we went to Carmen, Bohol and opened a work there. We conduct crusades in our area with the help of pastors in Bohol. We held regular prayer and fasting in the church knowing Carmen is the center of religion and revolution in Bohol province.
In 2005 the owner of the house we used as place of worship would not allow us to use their house anymore. We tried to rent another place, but our church income was not enough. I transferred to Salvador Sierra Bullones, a church that had no pastor. I work there teaching bible studies, but my heart's cry is in the work of Carmen. Last March 2008 I started to work again in Carmen. We conduct morning service in Salvador and in the afternoon work in Carmen to restore the work there.
